What Saves Me Every Day?
Love. And Freedom of Choice
This is the Western myth – the more I gather and own will make me well. And my reality was the exact opposite because the more I owned, the sicker I became. And the more I tried to gather, the sicker I got. – Dave Stewart
Hello. This is Dave.
About me. I have a Bachelor of Economics and have completed postgraduate studies in business, finance and psychotherapy. As a father of 3 and husband to a beautiful wife, I have been sober from alcohol for 20 years 6 months. I am a writer, a non for profit senior executive, a speaker and choose freedom of choice on a daily basis.
Today, I am sober. So far at least.
After travelling to addiction hell and back I chose to stay sober – or die. I am considered an expert and thought leader on addiction and anxiety and I have some modern opinions on the subject that challenge societal norms.
You may find my approach slightly irreverent. It is what it is. No apologies.
I offer consultancy and keynote speaking services. You can contact me HERE.
But please…don’t expect Tony Robbins. Or the traditional self-help approach.
My first published book is called ‘One Day, One Life, the propaganda of success.’ You can buy it HERE.
Currently, I’m working on my second book, an inspirational novel called ‘Bike Ride to Ban Kat.’
If you’re staring down a path you know you don’t want to be on, I’m hoping my bits of wisdom shared in my blog help you choose life over your addiction and anxiety.
If you’re stuck and needing a chat right this moment, I’ll do my best to help – david@onedayonelife.com.au
